Cheers, beer fans! We are super excited about the vegan beer garden we are setting up at the New Jersey VegFest on October 7 & 8 at the Meadowlands Expo Center! We believe that raising a toast or two to all the amazing vegan food at the festival is totally called for and it is also super cool to us to have New Jersey breweries getting their beers certified as vegan. All the beers listed below will be available and have been submitted to Barnivore, our go-to guide for vegan drinking. Isn’t all beer vegan? Not really! Here’s an article on what to look for in a vegan beer.
We have three Garden State breweries joining us at the New Jersey VegFest 2017 in October–Bolero Snort, Alementary Brewing and Cypress Brewing Company.
Here’s what you’ll find on tap on October 7 & 8!
Double Dry Hopped IPA
A portion of the proceeds from this beer are donated to The Cybersmile Foundation
‘s fight against online bullying. With all the nonsense that occurs on the internet its a good thing we don’t take ourselves to seriously. Since we’re not bitter at all we brewed this 0 IBU IPA. Dosed with Amarillo and Citra lupulin powder first before a system overloading double dry hop of Mosaic and Amarillo then Citra lupulin powder, Summer and more Mosaic. Super soft bitterness with dreamy levels of tropical apricot and peach. RELAX! Its just beer!
Double IPA conditioned on Pineapple
We brought back the original hop schedule from the very first batch of Bullazed and then amped the volume up a touch. Huge hits of Amarillo, Falconers and Columbus in the kettle before a massive double dry hop of Simcoe, Amarillo and Falconers and conditioned on pineapple!
Alementary Brewing Co
Cypress Brewing Co.
Northern England Nut Brown
Dark and malty with roasted barley and chocolate malt. Earthy hops and a sweet, nutty finish
A hop bomb American IPA. Powerful nose and 106 IBU from an onslaught of West Coast hops.
